PU announces MA/MSc Part 2 date sheet 2013

Lahore, Punjab University Examination Department has announced the written date sheet for MA/MSc Part 2 Annual Exams 2013. The exams are scheduled to be held in June/ July 2013.

Punjab University usually announces its MA/MSc annual examination’s date sheet a month before the commencement of examination. PU announced date sheet for MA/MSc annual examinations 2013 in the month of Mau and exams would start from June 2013.

The University of the Punjab was established in 1882 which is the largest and the oldest seat of higher learning in Pakistan. It was the first to be established in the sub-continent in Muslim majority area. It is an authoritative body for conducing undergraduate, graduate and post graduate examinations under different faculties. Punjab University has its two main campuses in Lahore while two sub campus at Gujranwala and Khanspur.

The University comprises of 4 Campuses, 13 Faculties, 10 Constituent Colleges, over 63 Departments, Centres, Institutes, and 500+ affiliated colleges. It has over 730 permanent faculty members involved in teaching/research and over 30,000 on campus students. Annually there are about 350 exams for over 450,000 students. Every year thousands of students apply for BA/BSc, B.Com and MA/MSc examination. The University has set itself to offer innovative programs of applied nature that will satisfy the needs of students and employers in relation to the knowledge driven age of technology.

Meanwhile, Institute of Business and Information Technology (IBIT) at Punjab University Lahore has conducted second annual job fair under the management of its Director Prof Dr Mansoor Sarwar. The job fair aims to offer occupation and internship chances to bright IBIT students. The measures for the job fair were reviewed bySenior faculty members together with Mr Amir Sarwar, Saleem Raza, Shumaila Gul, chief manager of job fair Mansoor Mahmood Ashiq and Fahad Kazm. More than 35 national and multi-national companies and IT companies and their representatives organized their stalls at the fair, Mr Mansoor Mahmood Ashiq said.
