PU allows BA/BSc private students to take subjects with practical portion in annual exams 2014

Lahore, The Vice Chancellor of Punjab University, Dr Mujahid Kamran has given extension to BA/BSc private candidates by allowing them to submit the examination forms for the subjects having practical portion. The decision was taken because students were facing difficulty in getting admission. Now all the private students can appear in the final exams of BA/BSc with subjects having practical portion. For annual BA/BSc exams 2014 students can submit the application forms with single fee till Nov 19, 2013.

While speaking at the orientation ceremony of newly admitted candidates in the Oriental College said that there is a need of uniform and identical education system and all the educational institutions must follow the one curriculum as it is essential for the progress of the country.  The ceremony was organized at Old Campus. On this occasion the participation was made by Principal Oriental College Prof Dr Ismatullah Zahid, Prof Dr Khawaja Muhammad Zakria, Prof Dr Mansoor Sarwar, Prof Dr Zahoor Ahmed Azhar, Prof Dr Mazhar Moeen, Prof Dr Syed Akram Shah, Prof Dr Muhammad Kamran, Prof Dr Qamar Ali, Prof Dr Moeen uddin Nizami and other faculty members and students of the department.

The VC further said that Oriental College could give many openings but from past few years the management has not showed concerned. Principal PUCIT Prof Dr Mansoor Sarwar praised Dr Ismatullah for organizing the orientation for newly admitted students at the college. 
The University of the Punjab was established in 1882 which is the largest and the oldest seat of higher learning in Pakistan. This was the first university established in the sub-continent in Muslim majority area. Two eminent laureates are from this University showed great significance for its academic and research excellence.
