KARACHI: Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ibad said on Sunday that male-specific colleges should be established if needed and disagreed with the concept, which planned equal quota for male and female students.
Presiding over the first meeting of the governing body of the Jinnah Sindh Medical University (JSMU) at the Governor’s House, he added: Praiseworthy female students can never be unnoticed or left out in any situations.
He said that in its place of raise something to a higher position the ratio for male students in medical institutions, separate boy’s medical colleges should be established if the country needed a greater number of male doctors and not at the cost of female students who competent purely on merit. Vice chancellor Dr Tariq Rafi explained the meeting of the performance of the institution of higher education since it had been having existed from two years ago.
