The Scholarship 2013-2014 for doctorate study has been announced by the University of Central Asia (UCA) on behalf of its Central Asian Faculty Development Programs (CAFDP). The scholarship provides the access to famous universities including the University of Cambridge, UK, German universities through partnership with the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), University of Montana, US and some others.
Now the CAFDP of UCA provides the assistance support for the Central Asian scholars to track doctoral studies and also provide them opportunity to work as UCA faculty member for minimum five years at the Graduate School of Development. The campuses are located in Tajikistan, Kyrgyz Republic, Kazakhstan.
The doctorate studies scholarships are available in two major areas Natural and Applied Sciences, Social and Sciences and Humanities. Applications for the entire corresponding doctorate studies including, Archaeology, cultural anthropology/ethnography, economics, sociology, Asian and Middle Eastern studies, development studies (economics), ethnomusicology, mountain tourism, public policy and business. Biology, chemistry, biochemistry, applied physics, geology/geosciences, applied mathematics, computer science, engineering sciences (environmental engineering, complex systems analysis and design), environmental sciences and environmental earth sciences, rural development and natural resource management are acceptable according to the UCA's eligibility criteria.
Application procedure is quite easy and simple; Applicants are prerequisite to first meet UCA's eligibility criteria if they are eligible then be invited to submit full applications to partner universities to secure admission.
