Rawalpindi: Once again female students surpassed the boys by securing overall top three positions in the HSSC Part 2 annual exams 2016 held under the supervision of BISE Rawalpindi board. This year, inter part 2 exams 2016 were conducted in April.

Provincial Minister for Labour Raja Ashfaq Sarwar was the chief guest of the ceremony that was organized in honor of position holders. The chairperson of Pakistan Green Task Force Jamal Nasir was also present on the event.

As per the announced result, the girls of Pre-Medical Group clinched the overall first top 3 positions in the inter part 2 exams 2016.

Pre Medical group Position Holders

Female students of Punjab College for Women, F-828, Satellite Town, Rawalpindi, Yusra Bint-e-Hafeez obtained 1041 marks to grab overall first position in the board. Second position was clinched by Nimra Mumtaz of Munir Intermediate Girls College Mohalla Line Park, Chakwal, who secured 1040 marks. Whereas, the third position in the exams was secured by Maleeka Zamurad Khan of Punjab College for Girls, Chakwal, by obtaining 1034 marks.

Pre Engineering Group Position Holders (Girls)

Even in Pre-Engineering Group, girls grabbed all top three positions and surpassed the boys in inter level exams 2016. Mahnoor Mahmood of Jinnah Institute of Informatics for Girls 470-D, Satellite Town, Rawalpindi, got 1025 marks and clinched first position.

Likewise, Rimsha Tariq of Punjab College for Women F-828, Satellite Town, Rawalpindi, secured second position by obtaining 1021 marks.

Maria Tariq of Punjab College for Women F-828, Satellite Town, Rawalpindi, obtained 1019 marks to got 3rd position in the group.

Pre Engineering Group Position Holders (Boys)

In Pre-Engineering Group Boys, Muhammad Hanzla Aslam of Jinnah Institute of Informatics 470-D, Satellite Town, Rawalpindi, clinched first position by securing 1018 marks.

Second position in the group was clinched by Fahad Khan of Cadet College Hassan Abdal, Attock, who secured 1010 marks.

Another student of the same institute, Rao Maaz Bin Khalid remained third by obtaining 1002 marks.

General Science Group Position Holders (Girls)

In General Science Group Girls, Sara Afzal of Punjab College for Women, F-828, Satellite Town, Rawalpindi, secured first position by obtaining 993 marks.

Bushra Ahmed also from Punjab College for Women F-828, Satellite Town, Rawalpindi, grabbed 2nd position by securing 965 marks.

Another student of the same college, Komal Fayyaz secured 3rd position in this group by obtaining 960 marks.

General Science Group Position Holders (Boys)

In Science General Group Boys, Muhammad Haseeb of Military College Murree, Upper Topa, Murree, remained 1st by obtaining 987 marks.

Rehan Amin of Punjab College (3-KM) Main G.T Road, Gujar Khan, Rawalpindi, got second position by getting 972 marks

Third position was clinched by Zeeshan Alam of Kallar Kahar Science College for Boys Kallar Kahar, Chakwal by obtaining 966 marks.

Raja Ashfaq Sarward distributed medals and certificates among the top position holders and congratulated them for attaining the distinctions in the inter part 2 exams of RBISE through their hard work.
