Ministry of Inter Provincial Coordination starts Cultural Exchange Scholarships Programs 2014

Islamabad, Government of Pakistan, Ministry of Inter Provincial Coordination (IPC Division) has started Cultural Exchange Scholarships Program for the year 2014.

National Testing Service (NTS) has gotten the responsibility of conduction of GRE (Local) Subject wise test by the Ministry of Inter Provincial Coordination (IPC).

Interested candidates can submit application forms for study abroad in various fields of Masters and PhD programs under Cultural Exchange Scholarships Program for the year 2014. The scholarships are expected from China, Turkey, Romania, Czech Republic, Slovak Republic, Mexico, Greece, Russia, South Korea and Italy. These scholarships are Fully Funded as the donor countries provide tuition fee, accommodation and monthly living allowance and these are different for each country.

The last date to submit the application form is Oct 28, 2013 while test will be organized on Nov 17, 2013. The eligibility criteria lies on those students who have done 16 years education (MA / MSc or must hold four (04) years B.Sc (Hons) Agriculture, B.Sc (Engg), BCS (Hons), MBBS in the relevant field).   

All the interested candidates must follow the rules and regulations to get scholarships. The maximum age limit is 35 years; those who have taken more than one 2nd division in their academic career are not eligible to apply. The scholarships will be awarded on the merit basis of NTS Test score, observing Provincial/ Regional quota. Those who are waiting for the result are not eligible to apply.

Application forms and online deposit slips are available on our website www.nts.org.pk. NTS will not be responsible for late receipt of applications sent through post.

 Eligible candidates can deposit online through the prescribed deposit slip in the online branches of ABL, UBL, MCB or HBL. Application form and online deposit slip are available on NTS website. Students can send their applications to NTS Headquarters, Islamabad on prescribed forms along with online deposit slip (original). Applications submitted by hand will not be entertained.
