MCAT test in Punjab to be held on August 30

Over 47,000 aspirants (31,000 female while 16,000 male) will appear in Punjab Medical and Dental College’s admission test this year. MCAT test will be held under the supervision of University of Health Sciences (UHS) on Sunday 30^th August 2015.

 Government of the Punjab has finalized all the arrangements for the test and also has allotted senior bureaucrats, also involving the provincial secretaries, divisional commissioners as well as BoR members as monitoring officers while the senior medical professors will hold this MCAT test. District Coordination Officers (DCOs) of respective districts will perform like a ‘focal persons’ to take care of the arrangements of this test.

Meanwhile the test should be held simultaneously at 34 examination centres established in 13 cities of Punjab including Lahore, Faisalabad, Sahiwal, Multan, Bahawalpur, Rahimyar Khan, Sargodha, Gujrat, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Sialkot, DG Khan, as well as Hasan Abdal.

MCAT test will be start at 09:00 am. The candidates, however, must reach their respective centres at least one hour before the beginning of the test because all the examination centres would be sealed at 08:15 am and after that no one will be permitted to enter.

In Lahore, there are six examination centres established at the Examination Halls of Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Lawrence Road; Examination Halls of Punjab University, Wahdat Road; Government Comprehensive Girls High School, Wahdat Road; University of Education, Township; Lahore College for Women University, Jail Road as well as the Government Central Model School, Lower Mall where approximately 14,500 candidates will sit in MCAT test. This test will be consist of 220 multiple choice questions (MCQs), that would be divided into four sections named as Physics (44 MCQs), Chemistry (58 MCQs), English (30 MCQs) as well as Biology (88 MCQs).
