KARACHI: Chairman of Bahria Town Malik Riaz said that on Thursday his program to set up two universities one each in Karachi and other in Hyderabad to be named called after Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain.
Addressing a press meeting here at the Governor’s House, Mr Malik said that a quick bus facility would be introduced in Karachi on two paths — from Bahria Township to Tower, and from Bahria Township to Quaid-i-Azam International Airport.
Sindh Governor Ishratul Ibad was also presented on the event.
Mr Riaz said that he would purchase land required for set up a contemporary Medicare institute as deliberate by Dow Medical College University and further that built-up plots would be given to `martyrs’ of MQM in the Bahria Townships Karachi.
He said that edifice of universities would start in January next year and would be accomplished by the end of 2015 and academic actions would start in January 2016.Governor Ibad greeted the announcements.
