MAJU joins higher education global network for quality education

Karachi: Mohammad Ali Jinnah University, (MAJU) Karachi has been given the membership of International Network for Quality Assurance Agency in Higher Education (INQAAHE) which is an international supervisory organization for maintaining quality among its 250 members institutes and university.

President of Muhammad Ali Jinnah University Prof. Dr. Zubair sheikh while welcoming INQAAHE decision to grants its membership said that this step will assist our education system to line up along with the international quality of higher education.

He furthermore added that we are ambitious to develop and improve our quality of education as per the national and international standard.

Moreover, he appreciated the efforts of Director, Quality Enhancement Cell, MAJU Dr. Munir Hussain for accomplishing this mile stone.

Dr Munir Hussain said that professional education has become vital as higher education institutes delivering programs in various modes and entering into the market. He said that the objective of joining this regulatory body is to make, collect and distribute information on present and developing theory and practice in the assessment, enhancing and maintenance in quality in higher education.

He further added that INQAAHE membership will assist us to undertake or commission research in the regions related to quality in higher education as well as to express the collective views among members on the issues related to quality in higher education through contact along with the international bodies and by other means.
