Hyderabad, Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences (LUMHS) held a Pre-Entry Test of more than 4253 candidates, including a large number of female candidates, with tight security measures on Sunday. The Test was conducted from 08:30 am to 01:00 pm at all LUMHS centers.

Details showed that there were total 350 seats in Liaquat University of Medical Sciences (LUMS), Hyderabad, 4263 eligible candidates appeared for 350 MBBS seats and 101 BDS seats for 12 districts of the Province. Total 2810 female and 1453 male candidates participated in the pre entry test.

Vice Chancellor LUMHS, Dr. Noshad Ahmed Shaikh, along with Director General Health Services Sindh Dr. Hafizul Haq Memon during a visit appreciated the arrangements made by the University administration for holding the test in a peaceful and transparent manner.

The VC expressed his determination to bring a strong administrative and academic system based on honesty and merit and free from corruption and with decentralization of powers. He said that with dedication and sincere efforts for education better results for achievements are to be waited adding that education is the key to increasing economic efficiency and social consistency.

Dr. Noshad also appreciated the media efforts, and said that electronic and print media are welcome to cover the transparent Pre-Entry Test. Strong parties of police were positioned inside and outside the Centre of examination, for transparent security measures.
