Lahore, The Lahore Development Authority on 20 October terminated the service of its project director (information technology) for allegedly holding a fake degree. After the inquiry it was found that the Project Director (IT) has a fake degree, LDA management registered a case against him.
It is told by the Officials of LDA that Mansoor Butt who was the Project Director of information Technology was appointed in Aug 2009 by the Director General Umar Rasool. Now he had also an additional charge of LDA director (one window operation). At the time of appointment he attached the copy of the degree of BCS which was also attested. Then he was thought suitable for that post and he was appointed.
About 15 days ago LDA director general Abdul Jabbar Shaheen was sent an application about the fake degree then he appointed director general Ehsan-ul-Haq as an inquiry officer. When degree of Mansoor Butt was sent to the Punjab University, the university said that it was a fake degree. After the confirmation Mansoor Butt is terminated and a case is submitted against him by the director general Ehsan-ul-Haq and the officials of LDA.
