IUB announces MA/MSc annual exams date sheet 2013

Bahawalpur, Islamia University of Bahawalpur has issued the date sheet for the Regular & Private Candidates of M.A./M.Sc.(Comprehensive / Composite) First Annual Examination, 2013 for the morning and evening programs. The exams are scheduled to be started in September/October 2013.

Meanwhile, IUB has also declared the revised schedule of LLB annual exams. Last date for submission of application forms and fee without late fee is Sep 18, 2013, with late fee of Rs 1000 is Sep 27 while with double fee the last date would be Oct 07, 2013. The admission fee of LLB Part 1, 2 and 3 is Rs 2200 each. All the respective students are directed to submit the forms with three passport size pictures. After due date university will not receive the forms.

The foundations of Islamia University belong to Jamia Abbasia which was established in 1925 in Bahawalpur region. Various famous scholars belong to this institution and spread out basic Islamic values in subcontinent. In 1975 Jamia Abbasia was declared as a General University operating in Bahawalpur then it was renamed as Islamia University of Bahawalpur. Initially it has started its operations with 10 departments in two campuses named as Abbasia and Khawaja Fareed campus. Now this number has increased to 45 offering 74 disciplines of courses.

The main objective of Islamia University is to provide quality education as compared to the quantity education. For this they have made different educational policies and research mechanisms to improve educational status and deliver high quality education.

To expand the circle of education Islamia University has opened its campuses in Rahim Yar khan and Bahawalnagar city in 2005, in the beginning departments of Management Sciences and Computer Science & Information Technology were established for the students to get education in their native cities rather than in Bahawalpur.
