Lahore: The student of Punjab University’s Institute of Agricultural Sciences department, Farooq Ahmed has won the Global Entrepreneurship Summer School Award.

Ahmed and his team took part in the Global Entrepreneurship Summer School Programme.

According to the press release, Ahmed was one of the 35 participants out of more than 1,000 candidates from all over the world who was nominated to attend the event, said a press release.

The programme was targeted at encouraging and connecting top aspirants to challenge societal issues via entrepreneurial means.

Ahmed along with his team presented project on migration and the won the award.

The winners have been invited as guests of honour to attend a fully funded international conference that is scheduled to be organized at Brandendurg Academy of Sciences, Berlin.

The vice chancellor of University of the Punjab Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran has also congratulated Ahmed on his exceptional achievement.
