Governor orders half fee concession to special students

Lahore, Governor Latif Khosa has asked all the universities across the province to extend 50 percent fee concession to special students. He announced this decision in a meeting held at the Governor house on Wednesday. 

During a meeting with a delegation of special children at the Governor’s House, he issued directions for implementation of the 50 percent concession in fee, saying that all universities must ensure the best educational facilities to the special students. He said finest technical education opportunities should be provided to the special children with aptitude for special education. 

He said provision of the best opportunities to special students was a responsibility of the government. He also ordered awarding a three-wheeled motorcycle from the Pakistan Baitul Maal to a handicap weight-lifter who had represented Pakistan internationally.
