Quetta, Balochistan Governor Nawab Zulfiqar has expressed his pleasure over release of 800 million for provincial educational institutions by Finance Department on the directions of Chief Minister. He also lauded efforts of Chief Minister for his interest in the development of education sector.
Governor asked concerned quarters that funds should be spent for the objective for which it has been provided and it must not be allowed to suffer from corruption. To overcome the shortage of teachers in the interior of the province, steps should be taken.
Governor reminded Chief Minister about funds to be provided to universities in the province to resolve their financial problems. Mainly, members of parliament and provincial assembly should also provide Rupees 10 million each for the universities so that higher education in the province gets improvement and their financial problems are resolved.
