Girls outshine boys in HSSC Abbottabad exams 2015

Eight of the top 10 positions were clinched by girl students in HSSC annual exams 2015 held by the BISE Abbottabad Board.

The complete top position was mutually shared by Aqib Habib of Jinnah Basic School and College Mansehra along with Kamran Tariq of Peace Group of Colleges Abbottabad by obtaining 978 marks. Najma Zeb of Dubai International Public School and College Mansehra secured second position by obtaining 966 marks and Zaineb Ejaz of Bright Vision Model College Haripur secured third position by attaining 963 marks.

 Approximately 3475 aspirants appeared in the annual exams of which 20,200 were declared as pass along with the passing percentage of 58.09. Just 292 students acquired A plus whereas 1630 could score in A grade, 3,992 aspirants were secured B grade, 7,564 were attained C grade and 6,270 attained D Grade.

 In Pre-Medical, in Girls Group, Najma Zeb of Dubai International Public School and College Mansehra secured 1^st position by securing 966 marks, Zainab Ejaz of Bright Vision Model College Haripur clinched second position by obtaining 963 marks and Midhat Rashid of Jinnah Jamie College Haripur secured third position by obtaining 962 marks.

Amongst the boy students, Abdul Subhan of Jinnah Basic College Mansehra stood first by securing 957 marks. The second and third positions were taken by Saad and Muhammad Huzaifa Aurangzeb Mughal of Abbottabad Public School and College. Both of these students secured 950 and 945 marks correspondingly.

In Pre-Engineering Group, in female grouping, Maryam Mubashir of International Public School Havelian secured first position by attaining 962 marks, Aiman Khalid of Bright Model College Haripur stood second by attaining 946 marks while Aroosa Riaz of Pakistan International School and College Abbottabad clinched third position by obtaining 936 marks.

 In male grouping, Aqib Habib of JBS & C Mansehra as well as Kamran Tariq of Peace Group of Colleges, Abbottabad, secured 1^st position by getting 978 marks. Ahsan Safeer of Peace Group attained 2^nd position by obtaining 961 marks while Syed Irtaza Haider Naqvi of Sir Syed Model School Haripur obtained 3^rd position by attaining 949 marks.

 In Computer Science Group, girl named as Aroosa Khalid of Fatima Tuz Zohra College Mansehra secured first position by obtaining 936 marks, Nida Waheed of BVMC Haripur secured 2^nd position by attaining 886 marks while Aqsa Nadeem of PIPS Abbottabad obtained 3^rd position by securing 881 marks.
