PESHAWAR: Tanzeela Khalil of the Jinnah Medical College stood
first as the Khyber Medical University (KMU) here Thursday announced result of
the MBBS First Professional Part-1 annual examination 2010.
A total of 929 students appeared in the examination and 591 were declared successful.
The overall result was 64 per cent. A press release issued by the KMU said that
Tanzeela Khalil of Jinnah Medical College Peshawar, Anum Ishtiaq of Ayub Medical
College Abbottabad and Hira Ishaq of Khyber Medical College Peshawar obtained
first, second and third positions by securing 493, 474 and 472 marks, respectively.
The pass percentage of Khyber Medical College was 75 and that of Ayub Medical
College, Saidu Medical College Swat and Gomal Medical College, Dera Ismail Khan
was 66. The pass percentage of the Khyber Girls Medical College Peshawar was
79, Baacha Khan Medical College Mardan 78, Pak International Medical College
Peshawar 02 per cent and that of Jinnah Medical College Peshawar 10 per cent.
