The debating society of Government College University has won All Punjab Bilingual Declamation Contest 2015 that was held by Pakistan Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO). Almost 16 top leading educational institutes of Pakistan took part in the debate contest arranged in association along with the celebrations for International Space Week.
The representation of Government College University Rana Muhammad Kafeel was declared as the best Urdu presentation whereas his colleague Ali Zar declared first in English humorous class for his amazing speech on topic “English is a funny language”. Wajeeha Naseem of a private institute secured first position in English category. In overall result, the team of Government College University was declared as the best team and got the trophy.
Vice Chancellor of Government College University Prof Dr Hassan Amir Shah congratulated Rana Muhammad Kafeel and Ali Zar on their huge success and also wished them good luck for the success in the future.
