Lahore, The Government College University Lahore has produced five doctor’s of philosophy (PhDs) in the field of Urdu. Syeda Rahat Zehra Zaidi, Bushra Nazir, Nighat Naheed Zafar, Muhammad Amin Khawar and Faiz Rasool Ansari completed their research under the supervision of Dr Muhammad Haroon qadir, Dr Muhammad Khan Ashraf, Dr Tabbassum Kashmiri, Dr Saeed Murtaza Zaidi and Dr Saadat Saeed respectively.
GCU Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Khaleeq-ur-Rahman and Dean Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences Prof. Dr. Khalid Perviaz congratulated the scholars on completion of his PhD programme and urged him to continue research in his respective field.
