On Monday, Uber has officially launched its uberAUTO service in Lahore that will permit the riders to look out for the less-expensive rides with-in the city through autorickshaws.
Uber has said that it is offering auto rickshaws to the drivers after getting their valid government issued documents that are verified.
Moroever, uberAUTO is launched in Lahore with a free week which means that each Uber rider will be able to get 5 free uberAUTO rides from Monday 17th October, 2016 to Sunday 23rd October, 2016.

On Monday, uberAUTO service was inaugurated by Umar Saif, the Head of the PTIB.
To use the uberAUTO, a user will require to download the Uber App from App store and requests a ride from that downloaded app.
uberAUTO works quite similar like the other option, uberGO, on the app. The riders can request for an auto rickshaw ride simply by tapping the uberAUTO icon.
A normal trip from Samanabad to Anarkali will charge Rs 50 whereas trip from Arfa Technology Park to Race Course Park will charge almost Rs 60.
The users can pay for their trip through cash, or Debit/Credit cards.
