Lahore, Forman Christian College University, Photography Society has got the first prize at the Bestival Photography Competition. The contest was organized from 7 to 10 March 2013 at Beaconhouse National University.

The competition was based on the theme of “Intimacy”. As many as 14 teams from several universities took part in the contest. FCC students, Maryam Azhar (MBA) and Rizwan Ahmed (BS Business) participated in the competition from the FPS platform.

They presented three portraits each. The picture “The paradox of Choices” won the competition. The judges asked the participants to produce digital images and process them with photo transfer techniques. The juries  arbitrated the pictures on photo composition, creativity, transferring technique and the presentation of their final artwork.

FFC aims to create and disseminate knowledge and to develop informed, ethical and responsible citizens, who are prepared to learn, lead and serve, who live by the college motto “By Love Serve One Another”. The Vision of the college is to be recognized as one of the very best colleges in the entire subcontinent.
