Islamabad: Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) on Wednesday announced the result of HSSC part 1 annual exams 2016 and the overall passing percentage for these exams remained at 57.80%.

As per the announced result, total 54,940 regular candidates appeared in the exam out of which 32,706 declared pass along with the passing percentage of 59.53%.

On the other hand, total 2,491 private candidates appeared in the exam, out of which declared pass with the passing percentage of 19.59. Total 7,957 regular candidates appeared in the exam in Humanities group out of which 4,216 pass the exam whereas 375 private candidates passed the exam out of total 1,755.

The result cards of regular candidates inside and outside the country are being dispatched to the heads of their respective educational institutes from where they appeared whereas the result cards of private candidates will be dispatched at their given postal addresses.

Result cards of regular as well as private candidates belonging to Gilgit-Baltistan are being sent to the sub office of FBISE at Gilgit-Baltistan.

If result card is not delivered to any private candidate till September 2nd, 2016 he or she may contact the board office for issuance of result card which will be issued free of cost up to one month after the announcement of result.
