Concerning the admissions of 2-Years Master Programs (Annual/Semester System) for the year, 2010 the University has decided to conduct Entry Test in the following subjects:
Microbiology & Molecular Genetics, Computational Physics (CHEP), Punjab University College of Information Technology, Biochemistry & Biotechnology, Earth & Environmental Sciences, Statistical & Actuarial Sciences, College of Banking & Finance, Applied Psychology, Social & Cultural Studies, English, Integrated Mountain Research, Quality & Performance Management, Sports Sciences/Physical Education.
The Entry Test Forms will be available from respective Department/Institute/College/ Center w.e.f. Monday, 12-7-2010. Those who are interested to take admissions in Evening/Replica Programs of above departments should also appear in these tests. There shall be no separate Entry Test for Evening/Replica Programs. The last date of submission of Entry Test Forms to the respective Department/Institute/College/Center is Thursday, 22-7-2010. The tests shall be conducted according to the following schedule:

The results of the Entry Tests shall be available on www.pu.edu.pk as well as on the Notice Board of the concerned Department/Institute/Center/College on Thursday, 12-8-2010. Clearance of entry test shall be mandatory for all the reserve seats without exception. Information about the venue and all other relevant information regarding the tests and admissions shall be available with the respective department/ Institute/College/Center of the University.
There will be NO ENTRY TEST for the following subjects and the admissions shall be made only on merit.
Chemistry, Mathematics, Space Science, Social Work, Physics, Zoology, Botany, Arabic, French, Kashmir Studies, Persian, Punjab, Urdu, Coal Technology, Library & Information Science, History, Archeology, Political Science, Seismology, Geography, Philosophy, Law, Islamic Studies, Economics, Communication Studies, Business Administration, Business Information & Technology, Hailey College of Commerce, Gender Studies, Special Education, Administrative Sciences (MHRM).
The schedule of admissions will be advertised by 13-8-2010.
