Landikotal: The officials of Landikotal administration distributed Eid packages as well as cash among the orphan students of a state-run school in Landikotal tehsil of Khyber Agency on Thursday. A distribution ceremony was organized at the Government Primary School Shah Zamir Killay in the Khyber area of Landikotal.

Assistant Political Agent (APA) of Landikotal, Raheemullah Mehsud, was the chief guest of the ceremony who distributed Eid packages as well as cash prizes among 12 orphan students seeking education in GPS Shah Zamir Killay in Landikotal.

The Political Tehsildar Landikotal, Irshad Khan Mohmand, Assistant Agency Education officer (AAEO), Haider Ali, Line Officer Hikmat Afridi as well as large number of local elders and the aspirants also attended the ceremony.

While addressing on the ceremony, Raheemullah praised the model set by the school teachers. He said that it will not just encourage out of school children however it will also motivate philanthropists to contribute.

The APA assured the school staff that on the behalf of the political Agent Khalid Mehmood they would provide full financial aid to the deserving aspirants of the school.

The official urged parents to register their children in schools as the child of today will be the leader, doctor, engineer and president of tomorrow.
