Educate a Girl’ celebrates 500th vocational-funded scholarships for girls

In Karachi Celebrated 500th vocational scholarships of ‘Educate a Girl’ funded for eligible girls in Pakistan to become journalists/reporters. To educate the approximately 1,000 girls at one time plan and help them the girls in finding job, eventually and sustainability can be givers themselves.

Emil Wyss Swiss Consul General in Karachi who personally funded the 500th scholarship spoke of the infinite possibilities of education, congratulating the winners on their success and urging them to make the most of the chances and prospects. Samir Dossal President Canada the Pakistan Business Council mentioned worldwide help for this creativity and the partnership among Canada Pakistan Business Council & Dawood Global Foundation.

Seyid shed light on helping Pakistani women businesspersons to market their goods in Canada and how much he helped this educational inventiveness.

278 girls have graduated, and they funded for scholarships out of 500, many of the girls are receiving top employments adding two of them become the new anchors.

Winner Jaweria Ali who is recently a news host on HTV Pakistan has become a giver herself, teaching Marwah Malik out of her pay cheque. Marwah in turn has said her dream to educate a girl one day would be actuality.

Educate a Girl has in progress plan 150 and was giving out scholarships in the names of those who missing lives in Peshawar attack.
