CIIT initiates Endowment Fund Scholarships Fall 2013

Islamabad, COMSATS Institute of Information Technology has declared CIIT Endowment fund Scholarships for Fall 2013 for high academic achievers with limited financial resources.

Last date to apply for CIITEF scholarship is July 15, 2013 for Islamabad, Lahore and Abbottabad campuses while July 29, 2013 for Wah, Attock, Sahiwal and Vehari campuses.

COMSATS Institute of Information Technology is a well-known institute of higher learning in Pakistan. CITT as an organization believes that no one should be deprived of getting education merely on the grounds of inability to pay. CIIT launched its Financial Support Program to facilitate the needy or deserving students. The Students Financial Aid Office will provide an opportunity for talented students who are financially incapable of meeting costs of education at CIIT. Various scholarships or financial assistance schemes are provided under the banner of Students Financial Aid Office.

Candidates are eligible if they have at least 70% marks in both Matriculation and Intermediate Examinations. The result awaiting candidates can also apply.  Only those securing admission in any bachelor level program (at any CIIT campus) will be considered for scholarship.

Students can apply concurrently for admission as well as for CIITEF scholarships. (CIITEF scholarship form is available online at: admissions.comsats.edu.pk). Submit CIITEF Scholarship application form (Hard Copy), along with all supporting documents at the campus where you are applying for admission.

COMSATS Institute of Information Technology (CIIT) came into being in 1998 and started its first campus at Islamabad in April 1998. In August 2000 it got the status of degree awarding institute by the Federal Government. The CIIT has also established six more campus in different cities of Pakistan like in Lahore, Abbottabad, Wah, Attock, Sahiwal and Vehari. The institute is establishing more campuses and plan has been made for this purpose. An overseas campus in the Gulf region will also be established in future.
 
The institute is successfully delivering educational facilities in different cities and has made its position among the top five universities in the country among top 100 universities in the developing countries and top 500 universities in the world respectively.
