China awarded scholarships to 61 students of Sindh universities

Karachi: Sindh Minister for Education and Literacy Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar has said that the relations between the two countries Pakistan and China are higher as compared to the mountains while deeper than seas and they are getting much stronger with each passing day.

Mehtab Dahar said this while addressing the ceremony of scholarship letters distribution which was organized in honor of students who have been selected for obtaining Chinese Language and bachelor degree education in Chinese varsities for five years. The ceremony was organized in Sindh Assembly Building.

He furthermore said that through this program first the aspirants will get education in China and they were restricted to serve in Sindh to teach Chinese to the students for minimum 5 years.

The students who have been selected for China scholarships have done their inter from government colleges and belong to Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkur, Larkana, Thatta and also Dadu.

Vice Consul General China in Karachi, Mu Yougpeng said that the Chinese Government Scholarship will provide these students an exceptional opportunity to study not only Chinese language but also philosophy, culture, history, economy as well as other subjects.

He moreover said that both countries were now working together to make the strong building of China -Pakistan Economic Corridor as well as push forward the comprehensive strategic partnership among which education, values and youth exchange was an important part and will influence the future of Pak-China relations. The Education Secretary Dr. Fazullah Pechuho also addresses the ceremony.
