Cambridge English qualifications get approval stamp from top Pakistani Universities

Press Release (Lahore): Cambridge English Language Assessment, a department of the University of Cambridge and the education consultants the institute of career development   celebrated the developing acknowledgment of Cambridge English Language certification at a seminar held on 30^th July 2015 at Avari Hotel, Lahore.

Universities, schools, Language centers as well as training centers in all over Pakistan are providing their aspirants with the opportunities to earn Cambridge English certificates which covers each level from Cambridge English young learners tests for children, however to advanced professionals development courses for language trainers. The importance of these certificates has even been recognized through the office of Prime Minister of Pakistan which said in a letter to the institute of career development that enlarged the access to the certificates along with the “benefit of Pakistani education community as whole particularly young students”.

This Conference was accommodated by Andrea McKay (Head of Assessment Services for Middle East, North Africa and Turkey, Cambridge English). During this event, plans to engage along with Cambridge English for both teacher training and English Assessment exams in Higher education, institute of Punjab were announced, Izhar Hussain (Director, center for executive education, institute of business administration, Karachi) and Dr Osamah Qureshi (Director, Institute of career development) highlighted the zones in which Pakistani institution can take the benefit of Cambridge English programs in Pakistan and what their experience along with Cambridge English had been so far.

Senior members of Punjab Higher Education Commission attended the event. The commission is interested in endorsing the Business English Certificates and will be recommending that higher education institutions set up Cambridge English Preparation centres.
