Islamabad, Britain high commissioner Edam Thomson in Pakistan announced that Britain is providing best educational services and facilities throughout the world. Pakistani students taking education in Britain are important for good relations between both countries. On a welcome ceremony at his home on Wednesday he distributed Chevening scholarships for Pakistani students completing their education in Britain during 2011 to 2012.
He said Pakistani student should be proud of getting Chevening Scholarship and Pakistan is in the priority list for this award. Scholarship getting students are increased 50%as compared to the last year and these 23 students will get their study in Governance, Democracy, Economics, communication and journalism, Gender studies, Social development, Public administration, Law and Human rights, Security and counter terrorism programs and subjects. In the regard of students, high commissioner also arranged Aftaar dinner.
