Boys Outperformed girls in Lahore board inter exams 2015

Board of intermediate and Secondary, Lahore (BISE Lahore) on Saturday has declared inter annual result 2015, according to which, the overall pass percentage remained 60.61%. All nine educational boards of Punjab declared inter result 2015 on the same day.

According to the statistics of board approximately 1, 52,981 aspirants had appeared in annual exam, out of which 92,720 passed the exam.

On Friday, the chairmen all educational boards announced the name of position holders of their respective board. Chairman of BISE Lahore Dr. Muhammad Nasrullah Virk announced also the names of the position holders in which Ahmad Rehman clinched first position by attaining 1043 marks out of 1100. Muhammad Subhan Saeed, Ifrah Siddiqui secured second position by achieving 1037 marks whereas Saifa Khalid got third position by attaining 1036 marks.

In Pre-medical group (boys), first two positions were clinched by Ahmed Rehman and Muhammad Subhan while third position was taken by Awais Qarni from GCU by securing 1032 marks.

In Pre-Medical Group (girls), Ambar Akbar of Punjab College secured first position by attaining 1027 marks; Sana Shahid of Government Kinnaird College for Women attained second position by securing 1025 marks whereas Noor-ul-Ain of a private college stood third by obtaining 1024 marks.

In Pre-Engineering Group (boys), Arslan Taleriq of GCU and Saweel Hameed of Punjab group of colleges shared first position by obtaining 1033 marks, Mohammad Jawad Haider of GCU clichéd second position by obtaining 1029 marks while Tahir Mahmood of same institute secured third position by obtaining 1026 marks.

In general science group first position was clinched by Shamsail Ramzan of the GCU by securing 973 marks, Hamza Mazhar of the same institute secured second position by attaining 972 marks whereas Muhammad Saadat Atta of Punjab College got third position by obtaining 956 marks while in girls Kainat Saeed secured first position by obtaining 972 marks, Mehak Seedat secured second position whereas Iqra Naseem attained third position.

In Commerce Group (boys), the top three positions were clinched by the students of Punjab group of colleges. Zaeem-ur-Rehman clinched first position by attaining 1008 marks, Muhammad Tauseef secured second position by achieving 969 marks and Hammad Shafique secured third position.

In Commerce Group (girls) Aqsa Israr of Punjab group of colleges attained first position by securing 1008 marks, Rimsha Waseem of the same institute attained second position by obtaining 987 marks and Tayyaba Noor, a private student, clinched third position.

In Humanities Group (boys), Allah Wasaya secured first position; Saeed Ahmad attained second position while Muhammad Ali Zafar secured third position.

In Humanities Group (girls), Tayyaba Naqeeb of Kasur clinched first position by obtaining 994 marks, Amna Aamer of private girls higher secondary school, Lahore secured second position by obtaining 978 marks while Momina Anwar of Govt Kinnaird College for Women secured third position by achieving 964 marks.

VC’s of all the topper’s institutes congratulated their students on showing such a great performance. Prize distribution ceremony in the honour of position holders was arranged by Lahore Board in which Provincial Food Minister Bilal Yasin was the chief guest.

Chief huest of the ceremony granted the cash prizes and medals to the position holders and also to their teachers. 1st, 2nd and 3rd position holders were bestowed along with gold, silver and bronze medals respectively and the csash prizes of almost Rs 20,000, Rs 15,000, Rs 10,000 respectively were given to the toppers. Overall top position holder was also granted with a laptop. The provincial minister congratulated board of intermediate and secondary education Lahore board on showing error free inter results.

Board of intermediate and secondary education has also announced the schedule for inter supply exams 2015 and it will be commenced from October 23rd. In this regard, the students can send their admission form online along with the single fee till 21^st September 2015, while along with double fee till September 29th and with triple fee they can send their admission forms till October 2nd.
