Lahore: Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Lahore (BISE Lahore) on Friday started the rechecking of inter part 1 papers following the protest of aspirants regarding the alleged unfair marking.
Large number of inter part 1 students thronged into BISE Lahore office for filing the application about rechecking of their exams.
Though, the aspirants were not being given appropriate receipts against their applications, as just the form number accompanied by the stamp was being provided to the aspirants.
Another issue, observed while rechecking procedure, was that just the marks of students will be counted instead of the complete assessment of solved papers.

It is important to mention here that the aspirants of intermediate held a huge protest against the unfair marking by the officials of board and demanded the government as well as the other concerned authorities to provide them justice by checking their answer sheets again.
The angry students while talking to some media sources said that the BISE officials have already put the aspirants in trouble and it was adding the issues after issuing such confusing takings. They said that the authorities of board should have completely rechecked the papers themselves before declaring the results.
Rechecking Procedure
Furthermore, on Sunday BISE Lahore also started an SMS service to inform the aspirants of inter part one regarding timings and days of rechecking of their papers.
The chairperson of BISE Lahore board Prof Muhammad Ismail in a meeting on Sunday asked regular appearing candidates of inter part 1 to submit their application for rechecking to their respective institutes while the private appearing students will have to submit their application at BISE Lahore office.

The chairperson moreover, instructed the officials of Lahore board, busy with rechecking, that they should complete the rechecking procedure ASAP and inform the student via SMS service as it will be convenient for them to appear at BISE Lahore on exact time.
On the other hand, the chairperson of BISE Rawalpindi Board has said that BISE Rawalpindi board has also started the procedure of rechecking inter part 1 papers after a massive protest of students.
