AIOU to start Spring Semester Admissions 2013 today

Islamabad, Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) is going to start Spring Semester Admissions 2013 from Matric to MA/MSc level programs. The admissions would open in various disciplines from Monday Jan 21, 2013.

Candidates can submit admission forms and prescribed fee in nominated branches of banks.

Director Admissions said that admissions for MSc will be opened in Mass Communication, Mathematics, Sociology, Forestry Extension, Statistics, Chemistry and Physics and four years BS programs in Microbiology and Chemistry.

Lahore College for Women University, Department of Pharmacy has started Admissions in MPhil Pharmacology for the year 2013-15.

The admission criteria to apply in MPhil program is: 5 years Pharmacy degree holders with minimum 60% marks and have passed GAT test.

Prospectus along with application forms are available at the admission office from Jan 14 and last date for submission of admission form is Jan 21 till 3:00pm.

Candidate applying for MPhil admission must attach one photograph along with attested copies of Matric, F.Sc, Pharm-D, GAT result, Character Certificate, CNIC and professional experience certificate of candidates.

University of the Punjab, Department of Sports Science & Physical Education has opened Spring Semester Admissions 2013 in BS Physical Education (4 Years Semester System) Regular Morning Program while last date for submission of admission form is Feb 15, 2013.

The Candidates are eligible who have F.A/F.Sc/ICS or equivalent qualification with at least 2nd division and age should not be more than 24 years, are eligible to apply for admission. Two (2) marks will be deducted from percent academic marks for each late session to a maximum of two sessions. Five Marks will be added to the admission merit scores of the applicants who have passed F.Sc, Five Marks will be added to the admission merit scores of the applicants who have won any sports competition at Inter-Board or Inter-College level.

Applicants can get Admission Forms from Department of Sports Science & Physical Education, New Campus from 09:00 am to 05:00 pm daily except Saturdays & Sundays starting from January 14, 2013.
