Islamabad: Federal Minister Ahsan Iqbal has given the commands to the concerned authorities to complete educational reforms as mentioned in the Vision 2025, before 2017.
He was confident that the academic session 2017 will carry on in smart schools as mentioned in these educational reforms.
The Federal Minister for Planning, Development and Reforms, Mr. Ahsan Iqbal, chaired a high level meeting in Islamabad on the progress of the Vision 2025 education sector projects.
According to the issued press release, In addition to the development of the Smart Schools, the upgrading schools in ICT zone, training programs of teachers, improvements in examination system as well as changes in syllabus were also discussed in the meeting.

Under this government project of smart school, 32 existing schools will be brought into the authority of Smart Schools. Out of these 32 schools, 28 schools will be selected from the ICT area whereas the rest will be Provincial schools.
The officials from the Ministry of Capital Administration and Development (CADD) and from the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) were also present in the meeting.
The said meeting accounted for a main enhancement in Ahsan Iqbal’s National Action Plan for promoting STEM education in Pakistan. Federal misnter considers the development of STEM education as a vital part of the government’s Vision 2025.
