21 August 2013: The date of 9th class results

Every year hundreds of thousands of students across Pakistan appear in the 9th class exams. In Punjab, the 9th class exams are taken by 9 boards of intermediate and secondary education. The bigger one being BISE Lahorebut there are other major boards such as Gujranwala and BISE Faisalabad which conduct matric part 1 exams on annual basis.

This year, the exam schedule was on time and the result is also on time. Almost a week later than last year but this is due to the Eid holidays. The all Punjab boards and BISE Lahore result of 2013 9th class is expected to be announced by all respective Punjab boards on the morning of 21 August 2013. It is worth mentioning that marks of complete matriculation are split into 9th and 10th class. So a good result in 9th class will certainly be very important for students in getting admission to better colleges in 1st year when the pass out matric in the next year.

It is expected that around 2 million students from Punjab province will be appearing in 9th class exams this year.
