Introduction
of BISE Rawalpindi
Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Rawalpindi was
established in October, 1977 as a result of bifurcation of BISE
Sargodha under Punjab Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education
Act No. XIII of 1976. The BISE Rawalpindi has
since been confined to the Districts of Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum
and Rawalpindi. (The defunct Civil Division of Rawalpindi).
The main objective of the Board is to hold and conduct all
examinations pertaining to Secondary School Certificate, Intermediate
Classical Languages and such other examinations as may be assigned
by the Controlling Authority /Government of Punjab. Main source
of Income of the Board is the examination and other fee collected
from the candidates. No grant-in-aid from Govt. or any financial
Institution is involved.
The Board consists of the following members:
- Chairman
- The Vice-Chancellor of the University or a University professor
nominated by him.
- All EDOs Education of District Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum,
and Rawalpindi.
- One representative of TAVTA Govt. of Punjab Lahore.
- One representative each of the Finance and Education Department
not below the rank of a Deputy Secretary.
- One Principal of degree college situated within the jurisdiction
of the Board to be nominated by the Controlling Authority.
- One Principal of an Intermediate College situated within
the jurisdiction of the Board to be nominated by the Controlling
Authority.
- Two Headmasters and one Headmistress of schools situated
within the jurisdiction of the Board to be nominated by the
Controlling Authority.
- Two persons nominated by the Controlling Authority from
amongst scholars and retired educationists.
The Board calendar includes Act, Regulations and Rules
relating to Board’s affairs. The calendar defines the
objectives of the Board as follows:
- To regulate and supervise the Secondary and Intermediate
Education.
- To hold and conduct all examinations pertaining to Intermediate
and Secondary Education and Classical Language, PTC /CT /DM
/OT and such other examinations as may be assigned by the
Controlling Authority /Government.
- To compile the result of the who have appeared candidates
and notify the same and issue certificates to successful candidates.
- To promote the sports activities among the students.

Migration
Information of BISE Rawalpindi
Students Migrating from Other Board
If a student studying in an institution outside the jurisdiction
of this Board wishes to get admission in any affiliated institution
with Rawalpindi Board, he should first get school leaving certificate
and N.O.C from concerned school and Board respectively.
Board to Board Transfer
A Student desirous of taking examination other than Rawalpindi
Board must get NOC from this Board. He should apply for the
transfer certificate after depositing the requisite fee duly
filled in along with NOC form in concerned bank attested photo
copy of result card to be signed by the head of the institution
in which he had been studying private students can get NOC Form
along with the result card signed by the head of any institution
affiliated with the Rawalpindi Board.
College to College Migration
If a college student is desirous to get admission in a college
affiliated with Rawalpindi Board due to the transfer of his
parents or for other reason he should get migration form signed
by the Principals of both the institutions in which he is studying
and to which he is desirous to get admission. College to College
Migration Form along with requisite fee must be deposited with
the authorized branch of HBL. College leaving certificate is
must. Local migration is not allowed.
Registration Intermediate
For registration of students for Intermediate classes, the same
procedure will be adopted as prescribed for students of SSC.
However students migrating from some other Board after passing
the SSC examination will bring a No Objection Certificate (NOC)
from that Board to become eligible for registration in this
Board. It will be the responsibility of the institution to check
the NOC of a regular student while a private student shall provide
and prove the genuineness of the NOC. The admission form of
a regular student will be sent by the institution concerned
as per schedule, whereas a private student shall himself submit
the admission form duly filled in and attested. The procedure
to fill in the form and get it attested has already been specified.
