When does the university start registration for B.Com private students?

The registration process starts in August and continues till December. 

How much registration fee university receives?

With Single Fee:     Rs. 3720 (August 15th, 2020 to October 15th, 2020)
With late Fee:          Rs. 3720+1000 (October 16th, 2020 to November 15th, 2020)
Double Fee:             Rs 3720+3720 (November 16th, 2020 to December 14th, 2020)

From where can i get registration form?

Students can download the registration forms from the official website of university.

What is the last date for submission of registration form?

Registration process ends in January or depends upon the university it may continue till the announcement of admissions.

Where can I send the registration form?

Outsiders can send registration form to Deputy Registrar (General), Registration Branch, Admin Block, Quid-e-Azam Campus (New Campus), Department of Examinations, University of the Punjab, P.O. Box No. 54590, Lahore.

What is registration Card?

After sending the complete registration form to Registration Branch, university issues Registration Card. Duration for issuance of Registration Card is tentatively 45 days after receipt of form.

What is the registration criterion?

Students who have passed intermediate or equivalent examination can apply for B.Com private examinations or students who have passed supplementary examination needed to attach the original failure certificate of annual examination with registration form.

Is there any difference between registration and admission process?

Yes, Getting the registration of the university is the initial stage after the process get done university advertises admissions. Registration process usually starts in October almost one year before the exam’s commencement and admissions usually begins in February. Before getting admission you have to get register yourself.

Which documents are required for registration?

  • Matric, Intermediate, or IBCC equivalence certificate.
  • The attested photocopies of CNIC of the candidate
  • One Original Photograph.
  • Those who have got the admission in the affiliated college of Punjab University would not be eligible to get registration and university would not permit them to appear in B.Com exams.
  • NOC if the F.A or equivalent exam has been passed by the board outside the jurisdiction of the University of Punjab.

Should I attest the registration form?

Yes, the candidate should fill his / her form himself / herself and get it attested from a gazetted officer.

Can I send the registration form by post?

Yes, Registration forms can only be received by hand or by post individually.

Can I download the admission form?

Admission forms can be taken from the institutes/ colleges/ departments etc or at the online branches of Habib Bank, Ltd. and can also be downloaded from the university website.

When does the university start admission for B.Com private students?

Admission process for B.Com private candidates generally starts in February while in April this process ends.

How much admission fee I have to pay?

Candidates appearing in B.Com private exams, have to pay Fee of Rs. 5,860/-.

What is the deadline for submission of application form?

The admission process ends at the end of March or start of April every year.

Is there any instruction that I should follow?

  • Candidate has to paste three latest identical passport size photos (with sky blue background) and must be duly attested; at the specified places of admission form (Name and Father’s Name must be mentioned on the back side of photos).
  • The nominated branches of Habib Bank Ltd will accept the forms & fee. In case any deficiency in the fee the forms will not be accepted.
  • Clearly mention the examination in which you want to appear i.e. 1st or 2nd annual exam and mention B.Com Part 1 and 2 private or division improvement (Part 2 only).
  • In the given box write your name and father’s name as mentioned in Intermediate Certificate. Otherwise forms will be rejected.
  • Candidate must write the registration number in the concerned column. Without registration number the forms will not be considered.
  • Candidate must write the name of Centre (City) where he/she wants to appear in the examination.
  • Clearly mention the name of board from where you have passed the intermediate examination with the passing year along with roll number. Attach the attested photocopy of intermediate certificate.
  • In case any student already appear in the exams and failed or supply in the exam, must mention the last or previous roll number, session, year and failing subject clearly.
  • Candidates can only be entered in the examination hall if he/she will provide the roll number slip.
  • Failed candidates (2nd annual exams) will have to submit admission form along with fee challan to the university office within fifteen days after declaration of result.
  • Photocopy of admission form is not accepted.
  • Money orders, postal orders and cheques will not be accepted.

Should I submit NOC certificate?

The candidate who is residing outside the territorial jurisdiction of the Punjab University should submit N.O.C. of the University in whose territorial jurisdiction he/she is residing.

Can I appear in the exam without practical training?

No, Two months practical training with a reputed Business, Information Technology and Commercial Organization is the essential part of the B.Com Program. The students would be required to complete this training after appearing in the B.Com Part II Examination.

When does the university issues date sheet for B.Com private candidates?

PU generally announces its annual examination date sheets a month before the exams commencement, usually in May and then issues the roll number slips.

When does the university start B.Com final exams for private candidates?

Punjab University ever year holds the B.Com annual examinations for private candidates in the month of June every year.
