Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Malakand (BISE Malakand) established in 2003. BISE Malakand provides services to the students of schools and colleges in the area of its jurisdiction. Presently, it conducts matric and inters level exams at school and private students belonging to its surroundings. The Jurisdiction of the Board was consisting of the following four districts and two Agencies and two districts which are District Malakand Agency, District Dir Lower, District Bajaur Agency, and District Dir Upper.

BISE Malakand conducts its matriculation exams in the month of March and while intermediate exams starts in the month of April. Results of matric are usually announced in the month of July and August while Inter exams results are announced in the month of September.

BISE Malakand is working under its aims and objectives to recognize education from all educational, professional, political and nonpolitical and religious organizations and groups. Boards’ plays important role in providing enlightened education and examination services to the entire nation as the future of the nation mainly depends on its education system. BISE Malakand is known fair and transparent examination system and thousands of candidates appear for matric and inter exams through this educational board.
