National Security Division Govt of Pakistan was established in 2014. Its mandate is to provision of secretariat services to the National Security Committee (NSC), drafting of national security policy and engagement with international partners to the matter of national security of Pakistan. Its national security advisor is Lieutenant General (Retd) Nasser Khan Janjua. He is the advisor of Prime Minister on security issues. He serves as Minister-in-charge of the division. NSC is a committee that is responsible for making decisions on security matters of the country. This committee has the support of two sub-committees, a planning committee and a research committee.

The vision of this committee is to build and Pakistan that is free and save from internal and external threats and where all country can live with peace and carry on their professions in an pretty environment.
